ARAPAHOE COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER: Arapahoe County, Colorado.     80,000 square foot addition to the minimum security Arapahoe County Jail. Utilized design of pre-cast panels, composite structural floors, masonry walls and cast in place mezzanine.

SAEMAN FAMILY RETREAT: Virginia Dale, Colorado.                        

Structural Design for a four building residential complex, with buildings ranging from 1300 to 4600 square feet per floor. The design incorporates long span, concealed plate log trusses, log purlins and a variety of steel and composite wood framing. Steel members were concealed inside the log members to keep a rustic feel throughout the complex. While this was a residential project, the main lodge building is representative of a rustic commercial ski lodge.

CASTLEWOOD RANCH AMPHITHEATER STRUCTURE: Castle Rock, Colorado.

Structural Design for an amphitheater structure consisting of timber framing with stone veneer column features.

New 14,000 square foot manufacturing and office building. Utilized multiple wall type construction and cost saving techniques to meet budget demands. Office area cooling and heating provided by rooftop A/C and Heating units. Heating for manufacturing area provided by suspended unit heaters. Exhaust and make-up air for the manufacturing processes was designed and provided. Included the design of the gas, hot water, cold water and waste systems for the entire building.

FITZSIMMONS MIDDLE SCHOOL: Park County, Colorado.                 

Addition of a new gymnasium and classrooms to an existing CMU structure. The gymnasium features longspan steel trusses, translucent wall panels and high unsupported walls. The project was completed under budget and on time.

COAL CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Jefferson County, Colorado.      

Addition of four new classrooms to existing school. The addition consists of sloping steel bar joist and steel framing to match existing roof slopes. A new boiler was installed to service the entire building since the existing boiler is not large enough to handle the additional heating load required for the addition.

KMART RETAIL STORES: Rolla, Missouri                                           

86,000 square foot retail store with CMU exterior walls, composite mezzanine construction, and light steel framed roof systems. Similar stores have been designed for Ackworth, GA, Chesterfield, VA, Colonial Heights, VA, Albemarle, SC, El Paso, TX, Myrtle Beach, SC, Exmore, VA, and other cities.

DEVINNY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Jefferson County, Colorado.               

Addition of four new classrooms and handicap access ramps to an existing elementary school. The classrooms required ribbons of glass around the perimeter negating the use of shear walls. The roof is steel framed and the building is founded on caissons.

LONGBRANCH SALOON: Central City, Colorado.                              

Remodel and addition to an existing 4500 square foot building. New facility incorporated gaming, kitchen and bar facilities in a 1890 vintage building. New stairs and floor framing were required as well as retaining wall restoration.

ANTLER'S DOUBLETREE HOTEL: Colorado Springs, Colorado               

Jacking existing elevator penthouse up one full story while maintaining use of the elevators. Jacking sequence was designed to allow the penthouse to be lifted and new columns placed underneath without disruption of service. A new floor was placed on the existing roof after raising of the penthouse.
